HitchDoc is a family-owned, ISO certified manufacturer of consumer and industrial products located in Southwest Minnesota. HitchDoc was organized in 1990 to build trailer hitches for motorcycles and has continued to innovate year after year. They came to Emagine with the need for a mobile friendly website with additional custom programming functionalities.
Using responsive web design, we created an optimal viewing experience across their website. We focused on easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling across a wide range of devices. User experience was in the forefront of our design process.
HitchDoc reached out to us to produce a logo sting that they could use at the start of their product videos. Using motion graphics, we developed a quick intro clip with their logo.
HitchDoc had a few custom programming requirements with the development of the new website. They needed to be able to have a dealer locator for their manufactured products, dealer area for dealers to access pricing and promotional documentation, and online employment application. We developed a dealer locator utilizing search radius and Google Maps, created a dealer area specific to each dealer type, and programmed an online employment form to simplify their hiring process.
